In the counselling space, I would like to help you to reach your potential, to hear, to understand and to empower you by strengthening your journey with new insight and to help you find and fulfill your goals. I am an experienced certified clinical counsellor (CCC) and registered clinical counsellor (RCC). I love to hear people’s stories and I enjoy assisting individuals to reach their potential. I listen (without judgement), I empathize, I encourage and provide the safe and confidential place for you to speak. I use a holistic, eclectic and individualized approach that integrates therapeutic methods with mindfulness, self-compassion and skill building. My Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Spirituality was earned in 2011, post-master’s education in Interfaith Chaplaincy (VST 2014) and Bachelor of Liberal Studies (1998). I have training certification in Couples Counselling, EMDR and Satir and family systems therapy. With over 15 years of experience, I have counselled individuals and couples with communication, mental health and wellness concerns, with life stages, with grief and loss, recovery from addiction, pain, employment transitions as well as trauma (PTSD, C- PTSD), anxiety, depression, adverse childhood experiences (ACE), ADHD and post- partum or prenatal loss. More than just my work… This is my second half of life. I enjoy life after recovering from my own traumas, after raising a family and after having different jobs and careers. I have come back to the Lower Mainland, full circle to rediscovery. I spend my spare time exploring various walking paths and the outdoors with my partner. I have a daily spiritual practice which is my guide and my light.

“Trying to survive and adapt in a world that doesn’t always feel like it was made for you can be exhausting. Taking the first step toward change can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re not sure where to begin. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
I offer a warm, client-centered space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we’ll explore what you’re experiencing, build on your strengths and resilience, and find a path forward that feels right for you, at your own pace. My goal is to help you feel more empowered while honouring your unique experiences and the ways you move through the world.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario, and Counselling Therapist in Alberta. My work with neurodivergent individuals began long before becoming a therapist—I’ve been supporting people with neurodivergence since I was 16. Over the years, this experience has shaped my understanding of the unique strengths, challenges, and experiences that can come with navigating a world that isn’t always designed with neurodivergent people in mind.
I primarily support neurodivergent individuals and actors navigating the unique pressures of creative industries, as well as those experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, and the everyday stressors of life. My approach draws from CBT, Existential Therapy, Somatic Awareness, and Brainspotting.
As someone who also comes from an acting background, I understand that the creative world can bring its own unique mix of vulnerability, uncertainty, rejection, pressure, and self-doubt. I bring that lived understanding into my work with actors, while creating space for you to explore who you are beyond your work and what it means to build a life that feels authentic to you.
Whether you’re navigating neurodiversity, the demands of acting and the creative industry, emotional regulation, anxiety, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Together, we can work toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and meaningful change.”

My passion for counselling has been developed through my own life experiences and desire for support in difficult times. I know and understand the power of having a listening ear, a challenging thought and sometimes just a silent presence, as I sought to understand difficult circumstances and grow in the way that I look at the world. I will always recognize the courage it takes for an individual to walk through the door and will hold each client with compassion and empathy as they seek to heal and find their voice in the process.
